Over the past three years, The Blades have flown over 300 displays in front of more than 18 million people, carried over 1,000 passengers and reached over 500 million people through the media.
In the last year alone we have been on nearly every regional BBC and ITV news programme. We have featured in prime time TV shows such as The Gadget Show, BBC Blue Peter, BBC Working Lunch, Celebrity Daredevil and Top Trumps, and have even been part of a storyline in ITV Emmerdale!
All of this has been possible due to the state-of-the-art equipment we carry. This includes 24 broadcast quality cameras, voice activated mics and even pilots who double up as vision mixers!
