A software company needed to improve the employee retention levels of its outplaced technicians. A high turnover of staff was adversely affecting turnover and productivity. Each engineer lost was taking months to replace, costing significant sums in recruitment fees, temporary staff and retraining, and causing a huge skills, knowledge and continuity gap.
Inspiring experiences
The Blades were asked to create an inspiring employee retention event for 40 technicians from the company's EMEA operations. The key was to combine unique experiences with an insight into military teamwork, creating one unforgettable event. Every one of the technicians hovered a helicopter, fought a Top Gun competition, and of course flew with The Blades, before being treated to dinner and their own personal flying display.
